NEW YORK, July 31, 2019 – The New York Riptide announced today that the team has signed forward Tyler Digby to a two-year deal. Per team policy, specific terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Tyler brings a wealth of lacrosse experience to our team, and we are excited to have him join the Riptide,” said Riptide Head Coach and General Manager Regy Thorpe. “We love his size, strength and grit. Tyler will certainly be one of our leaders on our front door.”

Digby, a 6-3, 265-pound veteran forward, has played in 102 NLL games, registering 151 goals and 192 assists over six seasons. He was named to the 2014 All-Rookie Team. The Riptide selected Digby in the ninth-round of the 2019 NLL Expansion Draft.

The NLL awarded the New York franchise to live events and sports media entertainment company GF Sports in December 2018. The Riptide will play home games at NYCB LIVE, Home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum when it begins play in December for the 2019-20 NLL season.
